These unique annual sessions allow learners from various schools across Wales to engage directly with a Senedd party leader, asking questions and discussing key issues. The next Leader Dialogues will take place in Autumn 2025.

Are you interested in running your own Youth Hustings in the lead up to the Senedd Election 2026?

Every year the Electoral Commission invite schools, youth groups, and local elections teams to join them in celebrating democracy by running activities that help young people understand how it works and how to get involved.

Boys’ and Girls’ Club Wales is bringing back their Pizza and Politics sessions.

The Electoral Commission have partnered with Shout Out UK to create a series of short activities and lesson plans on mis- and disinformation.

The Politics Project are launching their #ElectionCountdown programme for the 2026 Senedd Election. The programme consists of 8 short modules that support young people to learn and follow elections, register to vote, and learn about their candidates and manifestos.  

Exploring Elections - 2026 Senedd Election supports young people aged 16+ to engage in the upcoming Senedd Election on 7th May 2026.

The #ElectionCountdown resources are designed to enable schools, colleges and youth groups to support young people to engage with and vote in elections. These resources consist of 8 short sessions on key election-related topics to support young people that will be voting for the first time.
