What’s Happening in 2025?
This year, 1,641 councillors will be elected across 23 councils, including 14 County Councils, 8 Unitary Authorities, and 1 Metropolitan Borough. Additionally, there will be 4 combined authority mayoral elections, alongside single authority mayoral elections in Doncaster and North Tyneside.
