The Politics Project supports young people to use their voice by providing them with outstanding democratic education. We support young people, teachers and politicians to use a range of tools to learn, teach and engage in politics. We deliver workshops to young people and train teachers using a variety of dynamic techniques, resources and events. Through our Digital Surgeries programmes, we support politicians and peers to engage with young people using digital platforms to build strong relationships and a shared understanding of issues. We have delivered over 600 Digital Surgeries, working with a network of over 400 politicians and peers and 500 schools. To date, 100% of the politicians that have engaged with us would like to continue doing so and 95% of teachers would recommend the programme to a colleague. We also coordinate the Democracy Classroom Network, supporting over 100 organisations to engage young people in elections. We run a range of training programmes and design resources for youth practitioners and teachers to support engagement in elections.
