Election Countdown Resources We've developed a comprehensive set of resources designed to help schools, colleges, and youth groups support young people in engaging with and participating in the upcoming elections. Our programme consists of 8 short, focused sessions that are particularly valuable for first-time voters. We will be releasing weekly emails to help support these modules and ensure young people know everything they need for their first voting opportunity.
Key Topics Covered: Our sessions cover essential aspects including voter registration, voter ID requirements, understanding local government and Combined Authority Mayors, learning about candidates, analysing manifestos, and the voting process itself.
Paid Evaluation Opportunity: We're currently offering a paid opportunity for teachers who can help evaluate the programme's effectiveness.
This paid evaluation role involves:
- Having your students complete one pre and one post-campaign survey
- Completing a teacher feedback survey after the campaign
