This scheme of work introduces learners to voting in UK elections. It aims to make learners aware of the practical steps involved in voting and why political representatives are selected for their jobs.
The scheme of work is made up of an assembly, which can be delivered by a teacher or learners, and which contains a true or false activity using statements about voting in UK elections.
The scheme of work was created by Votes for Scholes and teachers may wish to deliver this scheme of work alongside the others in their programme, which cover different aspects of politics and elections in the UK.
