Assess your provision

Our self-assessment tool is designed to give you a snapshot of your democratic education provision across the six strands of the Democratic Education Framework.

The Framework is launching in a pilot phase for the next six months, and by assessing your provision you'll contribute to the pilot and help shape the future of democratic education in the UK. Eligible teachers who join the pilot before October half term will be entered into a £500 prize draw to be used for school resources.

The pilot is currently open to schools and colleges in England and Northern Ireland. As an eligible teacher, all you need to do to sign up is complete the self-assessment tool below.

The tool takes a few minutes to complete. Designed for schools and youth spaces, it will help you celebrate your strengths, identify areas for improvement, and signpost resources to help you better prepare the young people you support to be active participants in democracy.

Not eligible for the pilot? You can still use the tool to find out how your organisation is doing and get a personalised overview of your organisation's democratic education provision.
