Preparing to speak with a politician | KS3, KS4, KS5

This scheme of work supports learners to research a politician and prepare questions to help them make the most of their meeting with them. By the end of the scheme of work, learners should have a clear idea of the background, responsibilities, and views of the politician they are planning to speak to, as well as a set of questions that they have prepared to ask the politician.

In completing the scheme of work, students will undertake a research task before preparing their questions and testing them against a flowchart that ensures that they are relevant, well-formed, and worth asking.

The scheme of work is designed to be delivered ahead of a meeting with an actual politician.
