Media influence: Is everything I see online true?

This five-lesson KS1 scheme of work explores how to stay safe and make informed choices when using the internet. Learners develop an understanding that not everything they see online is true, why people might share untrue information, and what they can do when they encounter lies or content that concerns them.
Learners explore examples and scenarios to practise spotting fake content, searching online safely, checking information and identifying when to seek help from a trusted adult. The scheme supports learners to develop the knowledge, awareness and confidence needed to navigate online spaces safely and responsibly.
