How do we elect MLAs?

This lesson plan supports teachers to deliver a lesson about political parties, campaigning, and the voting system used in Northern Irish elections. Learners will research the different political parties in Northern Ireland before forming their own parties, designing a campaign, and voting, using the single transferable vote system used in Northern Irish elections to determine the winners.
