This assembly presentation introduces young people to politics, democracy and elections in Northern Ireland. Learners explore why democracy matters, how elections work and the importance of participating in democratic life through an interactive assembly.

This assembly can be delivered as part of the Welcome to Your Vote scheme of work, as a standalone session or during an off-timetable or drop-down day.
