This lesson covers the different civic and democratic rights citizens have, with a particular focus on registering to vote. Young people will explore the importance of registering to vote, how to vote, and why their vote matters. This lesson can be delivered on its own or as part of the 'Civic and democratic participation programme: Political literacy' scheme of work.
