People in Parliament: Secondary assembly

This assembly covers the people who make up the UK Parliament. Learners will learn about the roles and responsibilities of MPs and peers, as well as a range of other people who work to keep Parliament running. They will also be introduced to some ways that they can try to influence politicians.
It can be delivered as a standalone session or be delivered as part of a series along with the rest of the VotesForSchools assemblies.
