How do we elect MLAs? | Northern Ireland
This lesson covers political parties, campaigning and the voting system used to elect MLAs in Northern Ireland. Learners form political parties, develop a campaign and take part in a mock election before using the Single Transferable Vote system to determine the results.
It is designed to be delivered alongside the other lessons in the 'Introduction to the Northern Ireland Assembly' scheme of work.
