Assembly on understanding voting | Scotland

This assembly introduces young people to politics, democracy and elections in Scotland. Learners explore why democracy matters, how elections work and the importance of participating in democratic life through an interactive session.

The assembly can be delivered as part of the Welcome to Your Vote scheme of work, as a standalone lesson or during an off-timetable or drop-down day.
