Welcome to Your Vote Week 2025
For the week March 10-16 the Electoral Commission is encouraging youth organisations, schools and colleges to deliver democratic education.
#ElectionCountdown 2025
The Politics Project are launching their #ElectionCountdown programme for the Local Elections 2025. The programme consists of 8 short modules that support young people to learn and follow elections, register to vote, and learn about their candidates and manifestos. Â
Voter Registration Programme
Looking for a powerful way to engage your 16- to 18-year-olds? I Have a Voice (IHAV) is back with our peer to peer education program, to inspire young people to become informed, confident voters!
Mis-and Disinformation
The Electoral Commission have partnered with Shout Out UK to create a series of short activities and lesson plans on mis- and disinformation. These resources aim to increase young people's knowledge and understanding of mis- and disinformation, how to identify it, and where to find trustworthy information about politics, democracy and elections.
National Voter Registration Day
Give an X has returned to ensure that young people are heard in the May local elections across England, and now is your chance to get involved. This year, National Voter Registration Day is 11th April, the final day people can register to vote before these local elections.

The Squad Leadership Programme is a year-long initiative dedicated to developing local changemakers.

The Patchwork Foundation has opened applications for its 2026 Masterclass Programme. This is a 10-month programme for young people aged 18 to 30 who are passionate about British politics and civil society.
Votes at 16 Campaign Group
Politics in Action is recruiting new members to join its team of Votes at 16 Campaigners. With the government already committed to lowering the voting age across the UK, this campaign aims to ensure youth voice remains at the centre of implementation.
European Parliament Programme
The European Parliament is offering an opportunity to schools across the UK to join their network of over 2,000 schools and colleges across the EU and UK, promoting democratic engagement, cultural exchange and European values.
National Union of School Students
The National Union of School Students (NUSS) is launching soon and looking for 13-18 year olds at school, college or sixth form to help build it. NUS and SOS UK are supporting students to build a democratic organisation that can act as the national representative body for school students in the UK, strengthening consultation and empowering students to be active citizens who lead on solutions to national issues.

Democracy Champions
Democracy Champions is a programme from My Vote My Voice that supports people with learning disabilities and autistic people to understand their right to vote and take part in democracy. It trains support workers, volunteers, educators, and community staff to have accessible conversations about voting and to help people make their own informed choices.
