What do MPs do?

The session begins with a quick true or false quiz recalling and introducing facts about MPs. Students go on to learn about a range of new topics, including political parties, constituencies, the role of MPs, and who can be an MP. They explore which political parties have the most seats in Parliament and start to explore what they stand for. To enhance their understanding of an MPʼs role, they spend time playing the UK Parliament online game ʻMP for a Weekʼ.
