This lesson plan accompanies the DEN of ENQUIRY podcast: Bun Fight (10th February 2021).
Through analysing the poem ‘Bun Fight’, students will consider why we need governments, and what might happen if they didn’t exist. Suitable for Years 5 & 6. Lesson duration: 30 minutes, or could be adapted for an assembly.
DEN of ENQUIRY is a podcast for 9-12 year olds that uses original poetry and drama-inspired games to open up conversations about democracy, the rule of the law and individual liberty.
