Today, we are excited to announce the winners of the #WhyVote design competition!
In this election year, Democracy Classroom, The Politics Project and Creative Conscience partnered to launch #WhyVote competition to empower young people to use their voice ahead of the upcoming local, regional and national elections. The competition asked young people to create eye-catching designs to encourage young people to vote.
Today, we can announce the winners of the competition:
OVER 18’S WINNERS CATEGORY (18+ art schools, universities + recent graduates)
First Prize: Congratulations to Manish Ballal (Nottingham Trent University).
Second Prize: Congratulations to Poppy Scoffings (Northumbria University).
Third Prize: Congratulations to Charlotte Brennan (Nottingham Trent University).
UNDER 18’S WINNERS CATEGORY (16-17 year olds, schools + colleges).
First Prize : Congratulations to Hannah Shove (The Brit School).
Second Prize: Congratulations to Max Bates (KGV College)
Third Prize: Congratulations to Maximus Clinch (Dartford Youth Council).

We want to say a huge thank you to our panel of experts including: Alastair Campbell, Tyla Grant, Amira Ismail, Baroness Nicky Morgan OBE, Trevor Robinson OBE, and Chrissy Levett for their time and expertise in helping us choose the winners.
The winning entries, along with others, will be used as part of Voter Registration Campaigns across the Democracy Classroom Network ahead of the next UK General Election and will be showcased across Creative Conscience’s network and community in the coming months.
Congratulations to every student who seized the opportunity to make an impact by entering this competition. It was fantastic to see so many young people harnessing their creative talents to produce informative and accessible resources encouraging voter registration in the run up to the next UK General Election.
