Where to start with GCSE Active Citizenship

In this workshop, experienced Citizenship teacher and senior leader Kelly Allchin will share her over 15 years of expertise on Active Citizenship Investigations. She will explain how these investigations relate to the GCSE Citizenship Studies exam. Participants will explore effective investigation topics, strategies for developing students’ group work skills, and lesson planning for student progress in this essential and distinctive area of the GCSE. The workshop will highlight a new publication co-created by ACT and expert Citizenship teachers. You will gain access to this resource to support your Active Citizenship teaching.
